Hello, and welcome to my photography blog.

I am so happy that you're here! As you may know by now, my name is Chaylea. Let's just get this out of the way, the pronunciation of my name! The reason my business name is not my name. My name pronounced: Shay-lee. Never fear of offending me by forgetting or mispronouncing, it doesn't bother me in the least! I have grown to love my name, and even passed down to unique name thing to my first child whom I named Eraeth, pronounced Air-ith. We call him Era for short, and he is the entire inspiration for my business. The play on words puts a smile on many faces, but especially his! He just turned 10 this month and I just can't believe it. I started portrait photography when we was a few months old, realizing my love for capturing... well... love! It is a beautiful thing, having relationships and children.

Now that the inspiration behind my business has been shared, let's talk about what this blog will be for! I will be adding mostly tips for your photo session as clients, outfit options, color ideas, location ideas etc. I will also be sharing different vendors I love for weddings. The catering, the floral arrangements, venues, etc. I hope that you as a photo lover, enjoy my future blog posts! I will plan on every month having one new addition.
